What contractor companies have you utilized with the most success?
I use aquent, Adecco, and creative circle, and occasionally others. Which ones do you use?

Staffing a part time side project that counts towards utilization at my firm. Unfortunately due to small budget cuts had to tell some of the part time staff who were contributing a few hours a week to the project that we would need them to step back from the project. Sent them an email immediately and thanked them for their time, and told them would love to work together again in the future. Is this fine or do I need to also meet with them to reassure them in a case like this?

What is the minimum utilization criteria followed at SDC?

There are people from my team with utilization in range of 30% to 50% and got promoted to manager 1 and sa2 respectively.

I have almost 75% utilization, so wondering why work so much. Thinking of aiming for 55% utilization this time.

A previous employer reached out and offered me a Senior Product Designer role with a 40% increase base salary. I am considering this, as I have been feeling under utilized at my current role + dealing with of uncertainty lately. But I would be forfeiting a lot of RSUs if I leave. I am in the middle of my vesting period (2/4 yrs), and this year alone would have 256 shares vesting (~$500 share price). The new role will come with shares, but at a small share price. Anyone had similar experience?

I got laid off with no warning. Reason given was my utilization was low at 81.8%. No performance problems. Would it be inappropriate for me to apply back to PwC to the teams I discussed rolling onto?

How is everyone staying motivated at work while going through fertility treatments? On days when I have appts or get my period, all I want to do is google and read forums about it.
