Hi all, I’m joining EY as SC2 in the FSO finance performance improvement group. I wonder what compensation should I expect? I’m currently a senior associate at PwC audit. Want to get some ideas before speaking with the recruiter. Thx!
Will moving to a smaller company from B4 impact my career as such in the long run? Especially a company which is still growing and has only 150 employees at this moment. It’s not widely known in the market. But, it is growing at a fast pace in the last couple of years. From a work culture perspective, this company offers a lot of flexibility, emphasizes on wlb and employee satisfaction. Been wanting to get out of the toxic B4 work environment. I don’t want to make a hasty decision and regret.
Got an offer from a small biotech firm for a director role. Base is $200k plus $25k sign on plus $50k RSU with target bonus of 25%. I’m currently a M3 making $185 should be promoted to SM within the next year or so. Am I crazy to think this is a low offer?

I know the usual advice for saving is emergency fund - 401k up to match - max IRA - max 401k - HSA?/personal brokerage. However, where does saving for a house deposit and car deposit (want used but only ~2-3 yrs old) fit in? I’m 26, 100k salary and have been trying to put away 3k per month into HYSA/emergency fund, was maxing 401k at ~$800 per pay period (lowered to $400 a month a few months ago since no firm match and would like to put $ into HYSA/house/car fund), and $500/month to max IRA.
I billed a .5 this morning on a break between bar exam MPTs. I don’t know if this is an accomplishment or just sad.

Hello all, might seem a little silly to ask - but if a company proposes a "meeting" as a reply to a job request, will that mean it's an interview itself?

Know there is disagreement whether one wider monitor is better than dual smaller ones so would love to hear both perspectives.
