My days are very similar- but my kid is one. I try to incorporate bonding time which entails watching a little cocomelon before dinner, reading time (2 books) before bath time, and bath time. I decompress at the end of the day by watching my fav show and maybe drinking a glass of wine. I try not to be soo hard on myself because me (and you OP) are doing the best we can. ❤️

We meal prep on the weekend so dinner is quick. Generally as soon as I’m done with work, we play for about 90 minutes and then dinner, bath time, books, and bedtime. Winter is tough but most of the year we hit the playground in the early evening as our play time. During winter I usually replace the playground with the library but now it’s closed due to Covid again ughhh lol.
I love this - and we love the library too. The message I’m getting from this thread is that I really need to look into quick and easy meals or take meal-prepping into serious consideration. Not going to let this anxious, falling behind feeling get to me ..
