I got H1B Visa and 83000 USD dollar petition amount as annual package.I am confused as this amount will be enough to survive there with wife and 7 year old daughter.My wife is working here and together we are earning 50LPA annual.We are settled here by owning house too.Confusion is my wife will not be able to work there on H4 Visa so the kind of life we are living here will not be possible there.Thoughts?Suggestions?Pros and Cons?
Anyone interested in two afronation tickets?

McKinsey & Company I’m in between having accepted my offer and starting. I’ve read advice recommending getting your WFH set up ready before starting, and want to take that. I assume the answer is “no”, but could I spend my $150 one-time WFH allowance now and submit expense receipts after starting? Any chance they’d pay back spending prior to start date that was within a certain window (my last company allowed this for moving-related expenses, as an example) of the start? McKinsey & Company
McKinsey & Company Bain & Company I know Victor Cheng promotes against memorizing a dozen frameworks but which ones did you find the most helpful during case interviews? Any general structure advice for technology related cases?
I would of course customize it to the case, just looking for some good starting points.

Senior director at Google makes about the same as a mid level MDP so that’s what we’ve seen people depart at. Some senior partners end up as SVPs as Google but it’s relatively more rare. If you’re a non equity partner you’re typically targeting Director roles but even sometimes senior manager.
For perspective Rajat Gupta was making at one point $6M as a vey senior partner about 2 decades ago
I would imagine that would be at least a little bit higher today

What I have observed and this is for Google roles only:
MDP->L8 (director); some get GM not sure what internal level GM is at
Partner/principal->L7 (Head of S&O for XYZ)
PL->L5 or L6
C->low L5
Note that non-technical roles (eg S&O) get 20% to 25% lower comps than technical roles like engineering or product.
@Google, what do L8 engineers even do? I thought everyone stops coding at L7 or something.

LinkedIn / Filter: Previous Company (MBB), Current Company (FAANG)
Yes - most at MBB target manager level and above to avoid being stuck at terminal L6, with the equity partners I’ve seen leave only for SVP+ roles

Yeah checked my network and those that got VP/SVP roles were not at FAANG, but other tech companies
I am google what are the questions

Thanks!
