Is it good to buy a phone under 30,000 on BYOD?
Why did you leave
Working in TCS for more than 3 years. Currently happy with the work I am doing and did not put down my papers. Still account head called and mentioned they are giving me a raise as a reward for excellent delivery and the revised compensation letter will be shared soon. Has it ever happened to anyone of you? How much increment can we expect in such scenario? Tata Consultancy

Had a friend who left Deloitte to join Slalom. Left after 2 months. Said it was the worst decision she ever made. Definitely pay more and recruiting hard now. But much more staff aug.
Probably high, friend got offered 130 in GA for post MBA, I was told its higher in NYC. So I imagine manager is ~160?
So. Given that I just switched from EY to Slalom I'll give you some insight for NYC. It's not staff aug in this market. They won't take a project if it is staff aug. They're not as established as the big 4, but clients see us as a strategic partner since we don't carry the bs and frills some larger firms will have. Personally, I love it since I now have a life and am not working a million hours a week while doing meaningful work.
Thanks for the insight @S1
Think it's a decent consulting firm
Mostly seem to be staff augmentation rather than strategic consulting. I wanted to like them but have only had bad experiences working side by side thus far on two occasions.
They seem to be recruiting well, they jus made fortune 100 list for best companies to work for, all local projects and seem to pay well. No idea on the type of projects tho
I've heard they are aggressively trying to grow in many markets and are moving beyond staff aug
Anyone know what comp is roughly for manager equivalent?
Surprisingly competitive/high. If it was less staff-aug it might be a consideration. Will be interesting to see where they go over the next year or two.
^yeah they have good traction for sure. I feel like in 10 years or so, they'll have a big name for themselves.
Staff aug for ppl who couldn't hack it in real consulting.
Downhill is better
Let's see how this goes. Could be a new chapter
@S1 what is the equivalent of a big 4 SR Con at Slalom
Like I commented in a previous post, they got some busted ass looking people
Flat org structure so no real levels. That being said, sales is rewarded heavily and they'll raise you up accordingly (in $ and responsibility).
Why is everyone so bothered by staff aug? I managed multiple tech projects at ACN and whether you knew it or not, majority of their roles were also staff augs but wasn't labeled that way.
^usually after the design/consulting/recommendations/implementation process, u move into staff aug until they hire their own people. I think it's great if it interests u...beats creating decks and presentations on what u plan to do forever.
