what do recruiters ask your professional references?

I have an interview with paytm for mobile application automation profile. Can someone help in telling me what questions can be asked? I hv 5 years of experience and 2 years into Appium.

I'm 1.6 year exp, I was referred by someone in Infosys and same day I received an email saying We would like to proceed with your profile, I was asked to upload my marks, I've less than 60% but more than 55%, can they reject me?

Having your GPA on a resume is looked down upon (even if it is high)? I saw people roasting it on LinkedIn.

Currently in R2 with Bain & Company . Interview was scheduled 3 weeks apart from R1. Now they pushed my interviews another week. What should I do? I’m worried that other candidates with offers are asking to speed up their process or maybe it’s just that Partners are very busy. Thanks!

I did an initial interview with a firm Thursday morning. They asked for references and I provided them the following day along with my thank you note. In past experiences, I would have heard something by now unless they were not interested at all. Am I wrong to just write this one off?

I am done with technical interview last week Friday on DevOps but still I haven't received any call.

I sent two emails to the team who scheduled this interview but no response yet and also called one HR who scheduled this interview, she said they just scheduled the interview they don't have any idea about feedback.

I'm currently in a process for senior associate at a Big4. The process began on July, yet between the first and second interview it took like 3-4 weeks. And between the 2nd and 3rd like 7 weeks. I sent an email to HR during those weeks asking for an update and didn't have an answer. Then it a 3rd one was scheduled three times (the manager didn't connect to the first 2) and next week I have the last interview with 1 partner. Is the timing normal? Or were they looking for other candidates or what?

Have you been asked to provide references after final round interviews? The last time I had to provide references was in 2012, so reference checks seem a bit outdated to me

I have about 15 years of experience in tech with 2 years as head of product in a startup. I'm trying to find a new leadership role which is proving to be very difficult. My applications seem to get rejected because I don't meet the "minimum X number of years in product" requirement. I feel confident about leading a product team and believe that I have a unique blend of skills which can be applied effectively to build successful products. I had a final round interview scheduled ( 2 rounds cleared ) but i somehow got confused with the timings and did not join it at the designated time. Will this lead to the cancellation of my candidature and they will not pursue further or can I be given one more chance. I informed the HR and apologized and requested for help.
