Hi folks,
I've got an offer from Netcracker recently.
Based on the salary discussion, HR released the offer with 2Lakh less as promised and now telling me over and over again that they will revice it near the joining date and this is the process they follow for every candidate so that they don't go and shop in the market.Do you think I should trust them as they haven't given me anything in written but keeps on promising me over phone calls that closer to my joining date they will revise the offer.

Civil engineer at KPMG starts at 65k in FS advisory
This is a pretty easy google OP. Lots of articles and data available of you really want to look. Fishbowl is a poor representation of what the actual averages look like, they will be skewed higher.
Chemical engineers average the most at $65,500, but there is a lot of variation around that mean. Computer science/software engineering probably have the most variability of any engineering major. When I graduated 3 years ago there was at least one guy getting $41K and another getting $115K
I did industrial engineering and had offers from $65-75K

Most of my cs and electrical engineering friends made between 85 and 100k out of college. Heard the top CS kids made 150k plus a 100k sign on bonus. Graduated in 2014 so probably even higher now
As an electrical I got an offer of 65k
Mechanical engineer at Ford (not direct hire) -$73,000
I know other electrical engineers that got offered up to 82k out of school
Depends on the industry. Biggest bank in aerospace and oil. 6 figures out of college if you're a fluid Dynamics whiz in those industries
Mechanical engineering was right around 65k avg if I recall correctly!
BC1 100k signing bonus!? That's insane
A4 not unusual. Friend at Google was offered 100 shares of stock when he was 23.
Google is the definition of “not usual.” That’s not typical for a computer science majors. Elite schools and/or top grads can make a ton, but in general there is a huge amount of variability for that major
Computer science with focus in cyber security - 130k base out of undergrad, went with ACN instead
