Honestly, not sure if I did not understand the question or is it simply a very badly formed and lazy question.
All of those are measuring completely different things.
If you want to look at penetration / reach of a feature, you use “%age of users who did X”.
If you want to look at how many times an action is performed by a user in a particular segment in a given time period, then use “avg number of likes per person”.
Those could be Engagement metrics.

Thanks for your response. I should’ve been clearer. I meant “what is the difference between a count, average and a percentage metric”. What do each type of metric communicate? For example, average metrics can communicate a trend maybe?
