$1.8M. Background...immigrated from Indonesia to the US at 29 without anything to my name. Spent the next decade taking plenty of time off to extensively explore the world (visiting 75+ countries). Knew nothing about investments, only got started actively in the last three years (ie missed a lot of the bull run). Single income family, two kids. If you don't have any of these situations or other adverse circumstances you should be able to meet or exceed this. Make it happen.
1 out of 5 PPMDs I've met are very, very strange
I turned 45 2 years ago. Net worth isn’t what it could have been but I have reasonable work life balance, am in decent (but not excellent) health. Other than the mortgage am debt free (wasn’t always that way) and have a great family who have shown more compassion and resourcefulness than I can imagine these last four months.
Everyone measures net worth...I use a different set of metrics to measure. My $0.02
Eh I just hope I’m happier and healthier at 45 than worried about networth

I started at 25 with 58K in school debt. Now at 40, have a net worth of $2.5M (real estate investment & super frugal lifestyle). If continue on this path and given the career track, projected to be around $17M at 60 unless stock & housing market go to complete $hit
D11 can you give us an idea of what your risk profile and op strategy looks like for your rental portfolio? I have to assume it involves a significant amount of debt to achieve those figures
$500,000. That’s after child support, divorce, more court, bad purchase decisions and the need to keep pace with the Joneses.
Hey MD1...appreciate your honesty. Don’t see a lot of that in this line of work. I’m not at your level but I fell for the Keeping Up with the Joneses mentality a bit as well. Although didn’t spend beyond my means, definitely made a few purchases that were not necessary.

Assuming I’m making min 200k/yr by 32, save 120k yearly and work for another 20 years, hopefully will be worth at least 2.4 mil (not adjusting for inflation or including growth in salary or interest savings). I think that’ll be enough to retire by 55. 1.5 mil by 45
I came to the US at 29. Saved. Gave tithe, invested wisely maxed out my Roth 401k, and Roth IRA for both me and my wife. She is a homemaker. Have a home with a 15 yr mortgage with 8 more years left. 2 young kids. I am 47 and am worth 1.7M. It is possible. I have friends who have done even better.
$3.5M according to Wealthfront’s path tool.
Currently at $145K at age 25 (no inheritance)
Hahaha same I’m only 24 😂 good for you though, we love a hard worker 😌👏🏼

$100m. Will make that in one day when I walk down the aisle. Never dated someone that wasn’t in the 2 comma club and have no plans to change!

I asked my crystal ball if I’ll be a Billionaire by the age of 45 and the answer was yes!!!
That’s $999M to go.
Anyone worrying about their net worth is in the wrong job. Life is too important to care about useless stuff like that.
D26 you will be great. Enjoy the journey.
.5 btc ... hopefully that’s a lot by then.
.5btc =. 5btc, will never lose its value
