What do you all think about “Conscious Co-Parenting”?
I never really considered myself a type of person to be romantically involved with someone for long. No particular reason. I just never had an interest. Given that 50% of marriages end in divorce, given that there are more college educated women than there are men and constant rise of COL, do you think we will finally stop attaching ourselves to the concept of a “traditional nuclear family”?

On a big zoom call this morning. Child walks in fully naked and COVERED in marker. I mean face, legs, hands, everything. Even better, I didn't hear them right away and a coworker had to let me know they were there via chat. Turned around and my kid looked like a soldier in army paint. Not my finest parenting moment since I just pushed them out into the hallway and continued with my meeting. Sharing the shame here

Fishes, I need an advice: how do you deal with a spouse who is a chronic screamer? We were at a bar with friends and I left the bar because I was ready to go home. She stayed with friends and I later found out that she kissed a random guy and her friend had to break it up. We are 3 months in and I feel betrayed. She has assured to me that it was not cheating and just a mistake. She loves me and wants to stay together and swore to do better. I’m torn because I feel like all trust is gone.

Anyone here have a selfish sibling who only cares about themselves and sucks up to parents? But treats you like shit? Mine is polite and jovial in front of others, especially my parents, but wouldn't lift a finger if I was dying. As the older one, it pisses me off because I've done so much for them in our younger years but now get treated like crap since he is the baby and the favorite. I would have preferred we had got a dog and I kept the other half of the inheritance. So frustrated.

I am working from home since March 2020, Got married in Dec 2020..My wife may have thought that we will move to Pune after marriage but we are here in 2022 and I am still working from home..My office is still offering work from home for a long time may be but my wife is forcing me to move to Pune. How to convince her to stay at hometown only..PS. I live in a District not a village and I live with my parents.

My wife and I have 2 children. We got married young and I have handled all expenses since marriage. Java Microservices Architect with 40 LPA Fixed (12 YOE) at Nagarro. Joined 8 months back. Got an offer from Publicis Sapient of 55LPA (50 Fixed, 5 Variable), with role Technology Manager. I have asked for 60, but that’s out of their budget. I’m thinking of accepting the offer only if 55 is fixed without any variable. What do tou think guys? Is it worth a switch? And is the variable paid fully usually? Thanks in advance for your insights.

I internally scoff every time someone who worked 60h+ week and travel extensively says that their family comes first. I grew up in the circle of kids in similar circumstances and I cannot stress enough how delusional that is. So many kids who treat their parents like a fountain of cash with a bit of love sprinkled in. At least a fair amount of the parents learnt to regret it later on in life.
