Mamas - what are the most creative solutions to schooling you have seen for next year as alternatives? Is there something your school districts are doing that you think is creative and unique? Are you hiring teachers and creating pods? Renting space? I have twins entering kindergarten. I trying to find them a bridge program to act as a kindergarten but also exploring other options. I do know that a virtual environment while I work 50-60 hour weeks is not the best solution!
Need advice: I recently graduated from an MBA program and will start with EY Parthenon soon. I have 42 months left on my H1B and I’m nervous about EY starting my GC process since they have paused PERM (they said they will start GC after a year but if they miss this window, I’ll be screwed). Should I be looking to change jobs soon (within the next six months) or stick it out with EY? TIA!
Did anyone received official communication regarding the latest h1b exception? The media sources are not accurate.
A candidate I interviewed on Friday just requested to connect on LinkedIn. I feel like that’s a bold move. Is it ok to accept?
Anyone else feel bad when recruiting? These MBAs prep so much, are more qualified than I was when I was an MBA student, and I'm rejecting them for small mistakes in their cases.

The hard part about finding great AEs / VP of Sales is that the smart & resourceful ones are not looking for work, because they’re successful at their current role. That being said - if anyone is looking for an exciting new opportunity with no glass ceiling / cap on earnings, you should email us at email@example.com
Felt excited about an interview but left afterwards with a bad taste in my mouth. Feeling like maybe it's not worth pursuing. Anyone ever felt this way and what did you do?
Our internet went out on Friday and we found out today it will likely be 3 or so more days until it can be fixed due to a cut line. We're at a hotel since both husband and I need wi fi to work tomorrow. What are you all thoughts on asking my company to cover the cost of hotel until fixed? My thought is if we weren't in a pandemic I'd have access to the office and therefore wi fi.... thoughts? Best way to approach? Thanks!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a product that helps with potential carpal tunnel? I realize we don’t always work in the most ergonomic environments and I need something to help, esp. w/ travel.
I am entry level, but I got placed in a project where I am not learning anything and will be here for a year. Any advice on what I could do inside or outside of work to build skills?
Curious to know how other companies are handling Diversity & Inclusion initiatives (if any)? I've felt like mine has talked a lot about being more inclusive but I've struggled to see tangible changes.
