Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Usually by generating fresh insights that no one asked for on projects I know have been kicked off. Ask your CDs what’s happening to get the run down of where they are in a project, then jump in and add value.
Start with an email to your CD. They’ll have the intel on what’s needed. Also to get ahead of the game reach out to the account leads on projects in or coming down the pipeline. They’ll have intel on what’s keeping the client up at night. Take a stab at research and insight to contribute to solving that problem. Clients love that shit.
Wow my grammar bad. Anyway It’s all about keeping your ears open and knowing the status of projects. Unexpected added value and going above and beyond will get more people to include you proactively in projects .
Good idea, SR1! How do you ride the line between bringing something useful to a project and just creating noise for teams that are already stressed? Especially with short term projects.
