Hi! I have a FP&A Sr offer. It’s a strong offer (pay, company, benefits, WFH). Never worked in FP&A so I think it’s a good opportunity for long term goals. My current job title is Manager (but I don’t manage anyone). I hate my current job and it doesn’t align with my long term goals. It’s not what I thought it’d be. Have you ever taken a title “demotion” and if so, did it work out or do you regret it? I think I can move up pretty quickly in the new company

Looking for a new credit card and deciding between the Amex gold or chase sapphire preferred. Any preferences? For reference I’m in my mid 20s and live in nyc. my fiancé is miserable in their current role (doesn’t like the work, doesn’t feel valued) and doesn’t know if more headcount will open up soon. doing what they can to network internally and apply externally but works in a niche field (video production) that isn’t hiring a ton right now due to covid. when I ask what they want to do next or what their ideal role is, the answer is always “I don’t know”. And so, I personally don’t know how to help other than to listen to the complaints. Any advice?
