So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

It's typical for there to be a delay in other benefits, but healthcare should generally start on day one. If you're taking a break before starting, yes COBRA. I think you can even do it retroactively if you don't expect to need it.
This. Most cobra plans allow you to apply for retroactive coverage for up to 30 days or more after your last day at the prior firm. If you have less than a month off in-between and you don’t expect to need coverage before you start at new firm (assuming new firm coverage starts day one) then you shouldn’t need to do anything. If something happens in the retro window you can deal with it then after the fact.
I have a week off between jobs so no major delay. There was a month delay at my current firm when I started as well.
You can activate cobra retroactively so you should be fine doing nothing unless you need some emergency treatment in that intervening period
You can have 3 months delay without penalty in MA
I have a month break where I have no insurance. Planning on retroactively using COBRA if anyone in my fam has a big accident or event but paying cash if we need to use the urgent care/etc in the mean time.
