This is my first time working with a client using the COSO framework. Before elevating my inquiry to my seniors, I would like to confirm my understanding of how this exercise works.
Prior working papers are telling me that client should establish its compliance with the five components of the framework, correct? How rigid should I be in performing this?
To be fair, I was provided with a reading material but it’s a pretty hefty read.

You're an intern, the world is your oyster. Go somewhere else.
As a strategy intern I would take it. There aren't very many entry level strategy roles around. Sorry to tell you.
First strategy lesson. You're an intern. You want to be a strategist. Take the strategy job. Commit a year. Part of the job is weathering a tough situation and learning to make sense of it to help everyone on the account. Good luck.
I wouldn't take a job if I hated the work and the people. That sounds like a recipe for misery
If you really want to work in strategy, take it. It's real hard to get strategy jobs. People try for years to do what you have the opportunity to do now.
Don't take it. If you hate your account and team, you won't be happy
Take it until you get something better. You prob have bills you need to pay
Grass is always greener. You are an intern and haven't even been offered the job yet. Slow your roll.
Yeah if it's strategy I'd take it, that doesn't happen often. How bad could your team be? Find a way to like them and/or befriend other people in the agency.
Ask for combat pay. Then get out asap.
take it. learn to navigate the obstacles. you'll be a stronger employee for it. it's a lesson we all learn from
Take it and keep searching, there's still time.
Take it. Managing to get yourself a strategy position straight away will effectively put you 2 years ahead of the curve while most start in other disciplines before pushing their way into strategy.
