I posted this in the singles bowl but also want to post it here for advice. I've dated 2 guys in the past and both shut down when they go thru high stress (e.g. culture shock when moving to a new country + high work stress, or something happens in their family). They dropped all communications and i was left wondering what happened. In both cases I asked and wished them well, but things just ended / fizzled out. The 2nd one just happened and I wonder what to do / how to improve guys' comm skills

I am totally exploiting the “threat” of COVID to avoid going to a monthly CLE that I am supposed to be attending in person. The meeting is going on, live, in person, no masks, etc. But they still offer a zoom link. So, I’m streaming it at home (mic and camera off) while I clean the kitchen, make food, eat, and post this confession. Totally used it as an excuse to come home early and not have to go way across town in traffic.

Talking to my boss tomorrow just to connect individually on Zoom. Should I ask anything specific? Wasn't going to make this call too much about business, but want to show I'm here to work hard.

Why High level management don’t think that giving tons of work and no work life balance they already loosing some good employees. It decreases profit margin as new senior have to understand everything
