Hoping to get in touch with #Peraton recruiter! I have about 9 months left in Air Force where I work in cyber defense and vulnerability management, have a BA in cybersecurity, sitting for CISSP and have lots of certs. Would love to chat with someone about opportunities. Hold a clearance and could technically start in 7 months. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you.

Putting all the ridiculous religious convictions aside, the Supreme Court ruling doesn’t matter in the long run. Women will have abortions whether legal or not. Now it just means women may resort to dangerous measures in states that ban it. Alcohol prohibition didn’t stop alcohol production, it just moved it underground and it became black market and unregulated. So by banning abortion, states are essentially letting this health procedure become black market and unregulated. Would have thought by now the American people are smart enough to learn from history. Clearly it’s sadly not the case.
The said decision just doesn't sit right with me. I personally believe that men should never have the authority to enact laws or decide on what to do with women's bodies. In a nutshell, this is just a forced birth in a country with no universal healthcare.
Right?! The US is too bold to impose this when the citizens couldn't even rely on them when it comes to decent healthcare. Is this really pro-life after all?
Abortion is not a constitutional right. It is now up to individual states to mandate their abortion laws. The Supreme Court did not ban abortions.
That’s basically the same thing as now restrictions are even tighter.

That’s cool that you can discuss it with your coworkers. Everyone in my office acted like it didn’t happen and went on business as usual.
It was the total opposite of ours. It sparked a controversial discussion. Most of my co-workers, especially women, were clearly disheartened and enranged upon hearing the said decision.
I think that people don't understand that invasion of privacy is going to happen. Example: be able to obtain data of period tracker apps, women are still going to find a way for an abortion, doctors will lose their licenses due to giving out safe abortions in order for women to not use unsafe methods, many women may die.
I don’t need someone’s religion telling me how I should live my life. That’s how I feel. I’m worried about all the women that will die. All the women that don’t have access to care or won’t be able to afford life saving procedures.
It's setting a dangerous precedent.
I have second thoughts about the US Supreme Court's judicial review powers period. It becomes a circuit of 'might makes right.'
I don't agree that the decision to overturn Roe is "forcing births." It's reaching, in my opinion. Before Roe, births weren't forced. Just like lifting prohibition doesn't force anyone to get end stage liver disease or banning death penalties allows for serial murderers.
I do think that the state governments need to be required to revisit how to prevent these reported issues of facilities allowing ectopic and other dangerous pregnancies simply because they "don't want to get sued." There needs to be legal protections similar to Good Samaritan laws for facilities providing abortion services in these particular cases.
Also, in terms of equity, companies and insurances need to give increased benefits for pregnant women, longer, paid maternal leave and financial support for child care, as well as educational benefits in terms of loan and interest holds and possibly even grants and scholarships for mothers returning to school for higher education.
I read a post that criticized companies making bandwagon statements about the Roe overturn, but having minimal support for mothers in terms of leave/FMLA. It's very telling.
I believe women should have the right to make the choice that is best for them. I'm against abortion and that's my choice, I'm currently pregnant with a Down syndrome child and was given the choice to abort or carry, I chose to carry. In spite of it all I still feel that I may have made a selfish decision as I don't know the quality of life that my child will have. I'm saying that having a child is no easy decision as it affects a woman emotionally, physically and mentally. God gave us a choice so why should we not allow others to use their choice as they please.
I am personally against abortions but I do still agree that it is the woman's choice overall and she is the one who has to live with that decision the rest of her life so I don't think that this should have been overturned but ammended. at the very least.
The right to protect and care for one's human body is a basic human right. I am not surprised at all. We are starting to live in a world where too many crap is shoved down our throats.
A woman’s healthcare decisions are her own and no one else’s business.
