Can anyone share about how their firm handles origination? More specifically, how long do you have to work for a client that you didn’t personally bring in before you would start sharing in the origination? Current firm doesn’t have a policy setting forth metrics at which sharing would be required, so essentially, associates and less senior partners are at the more senior partners’ mercy. People have to actively decide to “give” a share in origination to those actually working the files.

Just interviewed with a smaller consulting practice, they said you have to execute and deliver from day one. I have always been an auditor and not to confident if I am to do the work by myself, I can get it all done. I mean I still SAlY when I audit.
