You’d be better off staying in Seattle
Seattle is a bigger city obviously. But there is a lot of construction with Ally bank, Honeywell HQ, Deloitte all building new buildings. COL is low for cities of similar size. Grew up here and live here now. Pm me
I live here now and I’m from a literal po dunk town in south GA and I’m enjoying it so far. It depends on if you’re looking for a medium sized city that’s growing or not. Like others have mentioned there are a lot within the 3-3.5 hour range like Charleston, Atlanta, Savannah, etc. You’re definitely moving to the south so if you’re not familiar with southern traditions I’d also take that into consideration
Charlotte is great! Medium sized city, amazing COL for its size, a ton to do, 3.5 hours to Wilmington (beach), 2 hours to Asheville (mountains), growing city, has a bunch headquartered there. I live in Raleigh but love visiting Charlotte.
There are definitely opportunities but get ready for culture shock if you’ve lived in the PWN most of your life
Seattle is great, but Charlotte is better than Seattle IMO. Better weather, easier commute, COL is great, close to Charleston and Myrtle Beach, and there’s plenty of other cool areas close by. I traveled there for multiple months and loved it.
