The worst is "PMP"
Tacky af
Rule of thumb: put it in if it changes what people call you or represents a a professional credential. MBA qualifies as neither of these :)
In 100% of cases, anyone who puts MBA in his/her signature, did not go to a quality business school
BB: Bad Bitch
Feels excessive. I'd rather have all the awesome stuff I do on LinkedIn. They can go find it if they want. Your credentials should show in your work and never name dropped.
MD I can understand if in health consutling
No, the worst is "CSM"
Tends to come from incompetent people who think too highly of themselves.
Most ppl put CPA, CFA etc
My signatures all include VIP at the end
If you need 2 or 3 letters to define you, it just means your work isn't good enough to speak for itself
the name of his school? Wtf
I don't put anything in my signature but I honestly don't mind if others do. To me if that's something they're proud of more power to them. My counselor added PhD at the persistence of the partner in our practice, and she is the most humble person I know. In other words I don't think it's worth judging someone on it.
Phd I would. Otherwise why get one
OW-1, I'm a licensed attorney too - not relevant to my practice and I can't put Esq because I'm not providing legal advice. My client had JD in his sig, which triggered this for me. And he's in-house. Just thinking of all my colleagues who put "MBA." One even has the name of his school. Don't do this people.
At BCG for PhDs and MDs, it's automatically generated in our signatures if you have them, though people don't write it in their own sigs...
For PhDs and MDs, Dr. is fine. For lawyers, JD. For MBAs, those who put it down got an MBA not worth getting or have huge egos.
I everyone who does, and so do most people here it seems. They might as well have "compensator" as their title too.
BFD, big fucking deal
