Not really cringe I don’t think. More of just an unwanted opinion

like

Naw this is cringe for the holier than thou attitude and glaring lack of self-awareness

like

Ha!! Joke is on you Christian, I stuff my face with cake at the office, not at home. Boom!

Who is stuffing their face with cake while WFH? Do you casually have cake around all the time?

likefunny

Less cake, more the ice cream.

Speak for yourself fat boy. I go on walks around my neighborhood, talk to my neighbors, and not sit in traffic for two hours a day.

like

Exactly. I exercise way more now than I did going to the office because I have more time and energy.

like

This is a really long winded way of saying “my family hates me and I’m not welcome at home.”

likefunny

Not a great example of cringe. Just an overly long, no-one-wants-to-hear-it, out of date mansplaining opinion on WFH. Sorta like watching some dinosaur flail around in the La Brea tar pits before it dies and becomes a fossil.

likefunny

Idiot. I don’t keep cake in my house. My house is full of healthy food options; healthier than the office lunches they bring in or the overpriced food I would purchase downtown. I fit a peloton ride and multiple walks into my day. I interact with neighbors and my real life friends. I look forward to my kids returning home at the end of the day. I can basically rebut every single comment he makes here lol

like

plus I avoid the stress of "cliques" and petty H.S behavior...I clock out and have time to devote to my kids vs. long commute times. I certainly have more time/energy to go to the gym. He acts like bc its true for some, its true for everyone.

like

The 10,000 steps part just stinks of a New Yorker who thinks the whole world is New York. But aside from that, I call BS. He's basing everything off his narcissistic bubble of one, so I guess I'll do the same. I've lost like 30 pounds since wfh simply because my stress levels aren't through the roof anymore, so I'm not a walking cortisol machine from having to deal with dudes like this on a daily basis.

like

WFH is bad for someone who only got outside during office hours (goes to store on the way home
from work, etc). However it is what you make it and it’s not for everyone. But it will not make you fat lol there are people that work in the office that are extremely obese

like

Bruhhhhh I have so much more time to go to the gym. This is rah rah and gonna be honest did not get past first sentence or two cause it is already BS to begin with. Ligma and I am feeling more fit in comparison to pre-rona.

like

Complete opposite.. I have more time to run now and have maintained the same weight that I was before the pandemic.

like

The cringe is how black and white the opinion is. Some people (esp. those who relied on the office for social interaction and physical activity) have struggled with wfh, others haven’t.

He acts like people couldn’t possibly change how they operate at home to get the things they’re missing. And I say this as someone who has struggled with some aspects of wfh.

like

Christian sounds like his employees are rebelling against him and he’s now annoyed they keep quitting for better companies

like

Serial entrepreneur or a cereal entrepreneur?

likefunny

I mean I agree. But for some reason coming from a male bothers me.

like

Yikes you sound real fun

funny

I feel this way personally but would never post about it

like

Cringe. Every such generalized opinion from people without kids is cringe.

like

It feels cringe because it’s a long ass post on LinkedIn, but everything he says is completely true

like

It’s true for some not everyone.

like

This is very generalized. Depends on the person.
I work in the office (never went remote) and my workout is wearing my heels each day. :)
Some people have a desk treadmill at home and are healthier than ever. Others are slobs that do nothing.

like

10,000 steps going to the office? Is that located on top of mount Everest? I don’t WFH but my step count doesn’t look anything like that nonetheless lol
