I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.
How long does EYs background check take?
Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

I’m going for it
This is just a lease but they're calling it a "subscription". You can return your lease early and upgrade to a newer model also.
You still have to pay for taxes and fees. So you’d end up paying $3,000 upfront to cover those costs and then pay $600 a month for the rest of your life, assuming you’ll always need a car. No thanks!
How does the insurance piece work? Would they just not accept people who have horrible driving records into the subscription?
Excellent marketing for millennials who were told to never lease a car but love subscription services
Seems overpriced compared my BMW X3 lease and annual insurance. I’d rather be in a German whip too. Interesting concept that I hope catches on with more automakers—I think Cadillac is doing something similar and Porsche may be piloting a program soon.
$365 for the lease, $1100/year for insurance.

Cool, I would go for it if they had it for higher end models
The future
Cool concept. But isn’t $600 a little steep? Pretty sure you can get better lease values for better cars. I get that most leases are three year agreements, and not one year like this subscription model
Yoooo. Game changer. I love Volvo but can't buy one. Hmm, will seriously consider
Lease that’s all in, insurance and all. Pay for tires is all you need
Interesting yet not ground breaking. Lease plus insurance with a shorter term.
If they gave me an monthly allowance for gas then I’m all in haha
Capgemini 1 that’s an excellent question. Especially since they state that you can have more than one user covered under insurance if they are your family. I heard they are working on an option for friends too, where you can lend them your Volvo without keys just by granting a permission via an app like zipcar.
PwC2 so what do you end up paying every month for your bmw?
