What is Service Delivery CON- Consulting in Accenture

I've been a lawyer for 12 years. I started up my own law firm immediately out of law school. I've grown that now to a 5 attorney practice. I'm starting to get courted by mid-tier regional firms. Has anyone made this move before? What are the pros and cons? I'm used to doing things my own way. Part of me likes the idea of staying captain of my own ship. Another part wants to use a firm's platform to grow. Advice?

I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts. At the end of the episode, an ad comes on for a former client. They were promoting an idea I had almost two years and one agency ago using the idea’s original name. So, I look it up. The words used to describe it are basically the words I wrote to sell it. They even got the talent we proposed in the initial decks to sign on. The big difference is the medium it’s delivered in. So, claim it or let it go? FWIW: It won’t make my book any better.

Ideas for scaling up? I work as a consulting accountant with a full book of business. I can’t work any more hours than I do and my rate is competitive. My clients are whales so I don’t want to price them out, and they don’t like me staffing up. But I’m not satisfied with what I’m earning. Ideas? Thoughts? Note* I’m in my 50’s so a new career is off the table. Feeling like Bob Cratchit over here.

AlixPartners fishes need some guidance ! I went through the recruiting process for the digital practice earlier this year. Over 9 interviews/ discussion/ tests etc. the feedback was good but was not offered a job due to COVID uncertainties. Recruiter said the firm is interested in hiring me when things pickup.I recently sent a note to the recruiter asking if she has any updates, she said no new updates at this time. Last Friday I saw 3 new opening for the same role, what should I make of this !
