What do you guys think of owning a share in a 2nd home with Pacaso? Any experience with that? Horror stories?

- 3 out of 5 owners want to redo bathrooms and you’re one of the two that doesn’t have money? Lol too bad.

Pacaso is pretty new so I can’t imagine that many horror stories yet but I can’t imagine the yoy being much better than getting an Airbnb for that time and it doesn’t generate any income.

Fractional ownership has proven to be a success. Low inventory, most people are priced out of highly desirable locations, and the vast majority of the out of the 10’s of millions of vacation homes are only used 10% of year. Think Uber - Crazy initially, right? Why weren’t we using the millions of cars on the road every day? This is similar. The luxury assets in the top locations are hardly being used. Not a time share - FAR FROM IT!

Hi there, I got an offer for an early stage cyber security saas startup in Canada and they offered me 130k base and 10-15% commissions which they estimated at 160-240k additional a year. They only have 1 sales person at the moment and I would be 2nd and they are hiring for 3 more. I’ve always been on a 50:50 model and never done the % of revenue. Average deal size is 40k. I got 12 yoe in enterprise tech sales. No stock options upfront but potentially after the first 3 months. Good deal?

Would love everyone’s thoughts! Which of these two options would you pick if your goal is to buy and hold for appreciation purposes given these are in a very hot market. Both same lot size.

Option 1:
- $175k lot located on very busy street but across the street from new $700k townhomes and restaurants

Option 2:
- $250k 3 bed/1 bath fixer upper located at end of dead end street, houses on street all fixer uppers, located down the street from Option 1 (so also near new builds and restaurants)
