I live in Texas and just joined a new remote team compromised of folks from NYC and SF where lockdowns are still in effect. They are big on culture, so we round robin what our weekend plans are and what we do to stay sane. I’m used to oversharing and being candid, but since everything is open here, I feel I will come off as reckless or tone deaf. If I lie, I feel like I’ll come off as shady or inauthentic.
