DC - Diversity , culture, things to do, ease of access (compared to other cities) dislike - expensive & traffic (worse in the country - yes worse than LA & ATL)
I like that food places are within walking distance and they stay open till 2am. I also like not having a car
I dislike the rent. I live the convenience. - NYC
Bay Area.
People say it's expensive. So live in the east bay. It's closer to the office and much cheaper.
Like - It's cheap and I live in it. Dislike - People think the city is the reason they're lame. Make your decision off semi real factors - proximity to family, career advancement, access to friends.
What's ease of access and convenience constitute? Trying to understand what that actually is since I hear it all the time but my life's pretty convenient since a 15 minute commute to anywhere I want to go annoys me.
Good points. Thanks AS 1.
A working metro system. Obvs not as good as NYC but gets the job done better than most other cities
Pwc1 even if it's cheaper isn't it still expensive though? TM1 including your city would be helpful..
OP, I don't live in a major city but I'm 2 hours from D.C., Philly, and about 3 from NYC and my wife and I discuss this all the time since she wants to live in a major city.
Still didn't saw the name of the city though
York, PA . You'll probably have to google it.
Lol why would you assume that? 🤔 maybe cause I live near Baltimore but York is not as unpopular as you think
