KPMG India
I am on bench for more than a month in KPMG India but still manager contacts me on regular basis.
Today, manager sent me a meeting invite with subject as "OLAM Demo Trial".
The other invites are 2 partners and the ones who took my interview.
Can anyone suggest me, what is this OLAM Demo Trial?

What level should I expect at FAANG? I have a PhD in CS from a world top 10 university. I did a PhD after working 3 years in the industry, and since my PhD, another 3 years have passed. Currently I'm a staff engineer in the semiconductor industry (hence no FAANG). On seniority: 50% I'm acting tech & team lead, scrum master, regularly negotiating with stakeholders, across multiple teams etc., 50% actively developing. Options: generalist SWE at Google /Facebook (Meta) or embedded SWE at Meta.

I love opening a beer at 9:45pm just in time for my phone's slack notification to ring off as my spine compresses, skin gets tight, splintering pain in my head and fight or flight adrenaline kicks in because I know it's my MDP and I'm going to get to spend the next several hours of the night on a deck instead of being a human with a beer and a recliner and maybe a book or friends or some other normy ish

You all aren’t traveling? Interesting thought it had returned for everyone, I’ve been on the road nonstop since July 2021

The end to end competence and confidence I get to build as it relates to proposing, planning, delivering, and explaining projects. Really like how consulting is more remote than other industries. People will take time to network, flexibility in sectors if you push for it — excellent exits. It’s solid.
There are some pretty hot women in my office - so them, IG.
