What do you prefer - Swiggy or Zomato? And why?

Every person has that one thing that they tend to scroll through the most, be it cars, clothes or food. For me it's food and I like Zomato way better than Swiggy due to the user experience. It's been 10 years since I have been using Zomato and till date can't switch to Swiggy despite being in 20s age range. Maybe I am very much accustomed to the UX.

Well I believe I'm the right person to answer this. Been ordering food from outside for the last 1.5 years and 90% of the time I use Zomato or Swiggy. I work night shfits so my order timings are around 10 pm to 4 am. Zomato - • slightly costly than swiggy even with 120 off • More restaurants available than swiggy ( even when a restaurant shows closed on swiggy for delivery, it will always be open in Zomato) • Best customer service ever, can say that as I work in customer service industry •better tracking for orders, live location and orders delivered on time. • allows delivery agents to rate us which we can see on the app, (4.54 out of 5) based on the location, behaviour etc. Swiggy - • cost effective if you are on super plan ( Now it's changed to One, there are some cons - for eg, Super had the option for free delivery above 149 but they made it 199 on One membership, so if you order anything below 199 you pay the delivery, no wonder they gave everyone one month free subscription) • less restaurants than Zomato and most of the time there are glitches which shows restaurant is open but when you add items to cart and pay, it shows its not available!! Really frustrating • Poor customer service ever, for eg, if I had order delays for 3 days straight, all they do is `we will ensure this never happens and we will forward it to the team` I know they don't and nothing happens, too much use of standard scripts, no personalization and empathy. • order tracking is poor, live location is worse and orders are delayed and cold by the time to reach to me Tdlr - If you don't care about money but quality and service, go for Zomato. If you do care about money, then you'll have to compromise and go with Swiggy

Swiggy..Only because of 10x rewards on diners black cc (swiggy has been regular partner of hdfc 10x reward points program) I read up ratings and reviews at zomato but order through swiggy

Swiggy for better discounts > Amazon pay ₹10-40 > Less delivery fee ₹28 vs Zomato's ₹35 Zomato for > Better UX > Reviews (others as well as we can add ours) > Simpl payment which offer a free delivery Zomato is comparatively costlier!

Swiggy for less delivery charges as compared to zomato

Swiggy. Better discounts. I find zomato to be expensive even after 60% discount than what I would've spent if I directly went to restaurant. While with swiggy certain restaurants give good discounts. They even have discounts on axis card.

Zomato 1- mostly on time deliveries 2- polite deliver person 3- customer service is fast to solve issues 4- good online deals Zomato may be costlier than Swiggy, but they are way better to deal with. My experience with Swiggy has been terrible. With Zomato all my experiences have been pleasant.

Zomato. For detailed reviews, supported with images, richer UX and and also the dining details which brings some additional credibility to the preference.

Swiggy..for better UI and better coupons

Zomato less delivery charges recently and mainly for reviews available for each. Swiggy is trying multiple stuffs too

Talking about Navi Mumbai Swiggy for better discounts and cheaper prices at the same restaurants. Zomato for better customer service experience.

Swiggy after I run out of fake complaints refunds on Zomato

Neither. I live in Mumbai and most restaurants offer free deliveries. I go the old skool way - call the restaurant, place order, and wait for arrival. Most restaurants have their menus posted on their google pages. I don't need Zomato or swiggy.

An off mention, I use eatsure to order faasos wraps because of free delivery, cheaper than Swiggy and Zomato!

Zomato. For better customer service.

Swiggy. Even though I have both the apps on my phone. I always order on Swiggy, may be because of simple UI,better offers and faster delivery.
