Can someone explain what “healthcare” is?
Any healthcare executives here?
Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

More competition the better for consumers! target is already making deals with insurance providers. Next they’d make deals directly with hospitals or large medical systems directly

I’m sure you can Google that

Not sure “disrupt” would be a good descriptor for Walmart’s entry into a broken system, but I say go for it. Can’t hurt.
They had some interesting roles open last year however you had to be willing to move to Bentonville, AR. That was a deal breaker for me.

I wish they’d give me an offer
The same way I feel about Aetna getting into the bottled water industry. It sounds stupid.
Didn’t GE do this in the 90s/00s and pretty much destroy their brand?
Wait what? Lol

Honestly, it’s good but also so stupid.
It’s good, because at least it’s a push for Americans to think “Hey, what if my health insurance wasn’t linked to (and held hostage by) my job?”
On the other hand, there are like a dozen of wildly successful national healthcare models over in Europe (and elsewhere), just use one of them!
The only thing more ridiculous but predictable than Wal-Mart doing this is if Uber, Amazon, or SpaceX decided to “disrupt the health insurance industry”
Does anybody think Big Tech will get into health insurance as well? Ex. Google, Amazon?
