What do you think is the future of cryptocurrency and investing? Broad question, feel free to answer as you choose.

Remains very limited until the IRS changes tax rules. Buying a cup of coffee with crypto is a taxable event. No thanks.

Very long term I’m interested in Ethereum and Zcash (for the solid privacy aspect).

I would say, remains niche. And the privacy long term remains elusive.

Currency is a shared illusion propagated for convenience of economic exchange. Digital currency and other tracking could be circumvented by equally supported cryptocurrency; but how would you really know?

How and why would an economic engine reliant on transparency for legitimacy and taxation for revenue use cryptocurrency? To better track, tax, and gain clearer insights into economic activities.

Cryptocurrency for stock holdings or other shared ownership makes lots of sense in this context. It provides a straight-forward way to make a claim on the asset. I would presume, arguably, that the transfer of ownership would be similar to a deed which introduces warranty issues, especially if there is not clean and clear lineage of ownership.

Getting around warranty does involve a certain amount of risk, though this is not new. Over time the risks involved with crypto ownership will become less due to stability and will become accepted, or largely unrecognized by most people.

So then we are left with the business questions:
- what is my goal e.g. security vs confidential vs ??
- what is the risk profile compared to other options
- what is the cost profile e.g. lots of small vs few large transactions etc.
- and for individuals, who make such business decisions more routinely, e.g often each transaction, what is the: convenience, perception of incentive, perception of style * see the meaning of style * etc.

Blockchain technology i.e crypto, will become overlord of all. Everything will run through a blockchain. You will no longer go to work (office guys) you will put on your VR headset and go into the office (this will be pushed via climate change). You will go down to the bowling alley/basketball game with your AR glasses on, this will provide the scores overhead etc.

It should enable fair ground for all parties in every situation.

I think a lot of companies will turn to crypto, especially start-ups, Initial coin offerings are largely used now for fundraising. Early customer’s will receive benefits by buying the coin early and then be able to use this to buy their product. Later customers will receive standard prices. This is what is happening right now but these are all companies who own/are creating digital services. Some use NFT’s to represent actual products which the investor can then sell on to the real consumers at a later date for a higher price, depending on its success.

It’s hard to round-up but I think it will be used everywhere, we just need to ensure that it’s guided correctly instead of creating an oppressive system where every step and facial expression you make is recorded. *cough cough* Social Credit System
