What do you think the fate of print journalism is?

Personally, I think it's a matter of time for it to disappear. Nowadays, people are getting their news from many different online sources. This means that newspapers and magazines face competition from websites and blogs that can be updated more quickly and are often less expensive to produce.

There will always be people who prefer to have the news in hand. It's not ephemeral, they can't edit it on the web, they can't delete it if you already have it. I think it will remain a reliable source for the record.

In 10 years everything will be digital. I'm sure of that, although we were saying the same thing 10 years ago lol.

It's only a matter of time before it becomes a relic of the past imo

It'll probably have some sort of resurgence as a novelty thing, kinda like the way vinyl records made a comeback

We're seeing it die a slow death day-by-day. Eventually it'll get phased out and we'll all laugh at how much paper we used to burn through just to print news

It will never go away, I hope; there's something about flipping through a newspaper that can't be rivalled by any lame texting app. Plus the smell of newsprint is amazing. Perhaps it's just me though

Hi! I need some help negotiating a raise. I have been working for this company for exactly 3 months now, but I was hired as an AGM. I'm not specific on what my responsibilities are as AGM.
However the GM at the time, quit 1 and a half months in. I was thrown into the role and have been handling it since.
My regional calls himself our GM but is never on site.
Was reluctant to cover my shifts when I became sick and requested time off for a few days. (4 days)
Any thoughts?

Tell me your craziest experience working with a TV network. Here comes mine:

I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. But of course, it's all fake and payed 😂 turns out she wanted me to go there (even though I don't work for that TV network) so she's sure she'll be paid at the end of the show. Wth did I just do.
