How much does post MBA corporate strategy make?
Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE

Has anyone moved from Accenture Federal to CGI Federal at Manager/Senior Manager level? Looking at Strategy/Organizational Change Management roles, and curious to know if you feel that compensation and benefits were worth it when measured against your actual experience once you started working with CGI. (I understand that some of it depends on the account you're on, the team you have, etc., just trying to decide if it's worth considering.) Thanks!

I started so long ago that I don’t remember, but I’m pretty sure that it’s HR that asks for the P45 whilst it is the Recruiter that asks your current salary. Two different divisions of the company.
Something like "I expect to be paid fairly in relation to my years of experience and value to the company - can you give me an estimate on the companies current planned salary range?"
Just don’t do it. It’s a game. They’re gonna keep asking, you keep saying no. I like to keep it light, eg “I can’t share that :) but it would be great to discuss the responsibilities and scope of the XYZ role”. You can always say it’s against your current employer’s policy to share that data externally.
Current salary is irrelevant to the value of your work in a new role. They are only asking in order to anchor you down. End of story.
I do see value in sharing your salary expectation for the new role before they share a range, as it gives you an opportunity to anchor high. This is controversial, though. I believe it works if you know you’re already at or above market value. I did this recently and got them from £160k initial offer from them, to “£180k is the absolute best we can do for this role. I’m so sorry. Would that work?”, to £220k including shares, within two 15-min phone calls.

Despite me never having met you, you are my role model for today. What an awesome experience.
Stick to no, give a range, give a higher number since they can’t confirm it in any way, give the real number but be firm in the desired salary regardless of the pay bump. The options are many.
Depends. I’ve gone higher than actual salary and got offers similar to expectation. Equally, had given true info and asked why difference to expected salary was that high (30-40% increase) but explanation was good enough for them.

When giving a range how do you determine lower bound and upper bound? e.g. if you’re currently on £70k, would you say something like £70 to 80k as your range? Apologies, new to this game!
S& - I almost did for a ~15% cut as the role was more what I wanted to do (data consulting). In the end I got a ridiculous counteroffer from current place so stayed
Thanks everyone - really helpful!
