I got 7 interviews deep for a role in-house at a company that I'd really like to work for. They said they'd keep me in mind for future openings in the department. It's been 4 months and I haven't heard about any opening roles. They do have a role that is tangentially related to my skill-set (would be a stretch for me, but maybe in a good way?), but I'm concerned that shooting for this and missing might reflect badly for an opening that would be more in my wheelhouse. Thoughts?
What are the evaluation metrics for phone case interview at McKinsey? I’ve been reading reviews about being failed despite sufficient preparation. I have sufficient time to prep (2 weeks) but am finding myself underprepared at this point.
I had six hours worth of Zoom interviews with an AmLaw100 firm on Monday and Tuesday last week. I haven’t heard back on anything yet - when is “too” long to have not heard back and when should I reach out to their in-house recruiter for some kind of update?

I feel confident in my casing abilities but am nervous for the fit interview. I don’t have much experience working in teams (undergrad mostly wrote papers, career i started off in sales on my own and then worked as the sole analyst on a consulting team independently). Any advice on how to white lie my way through the behaviorial?
Provided in-depth answers about my company and the interview process to three separate people over DM. As soon as they get the answers they want, they peace out without so much as a thank you. Remember that people are taking time out of their busy workdays to help you in your job search and some appreciation is welcome

Interviewed twice at a firm and now they asked me to go to dinner with a few attorneys? Anyone else done this? Offer at dinner? After? Let me know!
Deloitte- when I’m applying for a position, do I need my referral to send me a link? Do they apply for me? Or do I apply on my own and just let my referral know?
Have an interview for an SAP Level 10 (I think if not 9) role for Accenture Federal? How much should I expect the offer to be?

Deloitte moms, I’m not finding the maternity leave checklist to be helpful. Did you pay for your corporate phone while on leave vi GAA or did they disable it?
🐠 I need career advice, 2 years experience, getting promoted to C with a big raise in Nov. I am sick of my job right now, should I stick it out for the promo? Or jump ship now?
Senior privacy associate in BigLaw considering a move in-house. Would love to get some data points regarding in-house comp. I realize that a move in-house will entail a significant pay cut, and was wondering what is the highest you’ve seen for in-house privacy (or tech trans plus privacy) positions requiring less than 10 years of experience? (I am assuming they would be at FAANG?) My BigLaw total comp for this year would be $395k- just trying to prepare myself for what the pay cut will look like
How can I improve attention to detail? C here and made three careless mistakes on excel sheets (important data) in a row today. Feeling like I’m gonna get fired
Hi all. I’m planning a California trip for a week: 3 days in the South (Garden Grove, LA) and 3 days in San Fran. Please give me any recommendations about what to do or Asian restaurants/dessert/boba/coffee that I can’t miss 😋. Much appreciated.
Currently at a boutique cybersecurity firm where the strategy has shifted to MSSP focus. Most projects have been strategy engagements leading to transformations. Industry vs Big 4 vs MBB?
I had about 6k on hold cause I had a few hotel@receipts that were pending. I check portal today and everything was cleared by ey audit without me responding to them . Slightly surprised. This
Can someone confirm: flying United Economy (K) from LAX-IAD-LHR, the LAX-IAD route is 20 PlusPoints to upgrade to biz, IAD-LHR routes are 80 plus points.
I spent the last 3 months "growing up" & now I'm ready to go. 1st thing is for me to get my own place. I'd like to buy instead of rent because I don't want to pay someone else's mortgage. I'm thinking of selling my car & cash out some of my 401k to buy a house. My thought is to put down 3.5% for a FHA loan then make a big payment towards the principal to reduce long-term interest. Anything wrong with this thinking or anything else I should consider?
Any working mothers here? Trying to figure out how to balance work and motherhood - enjoy the work and travel but want to be there for my kid as much as possible - and they grow up so fast. Don’t make
MBB helps their employees find an exit opp via alumni connections and an internal job search. Why doesn’t Big 4/ACN/IBM do that? It’s looked down upon to say you are interested in leaving.
Why is my credit score so bad? Just checked it and it's 702. 24 M. Have CSR and two other Chase cards, a couple other cards from my old bank I didn't close, and to my knowledge never missed a pmt
I’m trying to make the jump from agency > platform (not FB…more like Spotify or Twitter etc.). I work with reps at these places as part of my job, but technically their loyalty is to my clients (the ones spending $ on their platform), not to me, working at the client’s creative agency. So it feels weird asking them for a recommendation or referral, but that would obviously be easier than applying on the jobs site... How do I utilize my “network” without making things awkward?
Is WLB better at S& than MBB/Tier2 or worse? I feel like it’s probably the latter because of Utilization/PwC culture, but want to validate.
This week SUCKED and i spent the entire trip home talking myself into thinking positively. Told myself next week would be great, my mood picked up, and then I saw an email from a client that has already f’d my Monday. 🍻 everyone!
Can someone from Deloitte help me to know exactly how many hours I must work in a year to achieve exactly 95 percent utilization? I'm trying to understand the difference between holidays vs. PTO hours
Thoughts on Credera? Starting the interview process and was curious how they are as a firm....
