As a parent. I may not be able to sit for 8 consecutive hours. I may work 4-6a, 8-8:20a, 9:15-12 etc, BUT I will always be available to the client and will still make billable hours within the day. I need trust and understanding not micromanagement. We were all thrust into this situation without preparation.
We already have to do a telework template for our client so my TL is asking us to share our approx "work windows" in addition to the required info in the team's shared tracker so we can see when our teammates are planning to be online and so she can manage timelines from the client if something comes in when we won't be available for a while. It gets deleted before the client version of the telework report but it seems to work well for our team. I was curious what other flexibilities people might be asking for
