Are the six sigma certs actually worth it to do?
Deloitte GPS Business Analyst vs Mercer Health Consulting Analyst?
Deloitte's offer is 7K more and in a cheaper area. Equal interest in both jobs, slight preference for Mercer for people + culture. Leaning towards Mercer because I graduate in Dec and can start in Jan vs having to wait until next summer for Deloitte + location (although higher COL)
Concerns:
Exit opportunities
Pigeonhole-ing myself into health consulting / How hard would it be to join Big 4 in a year or two if I don't like it

Can anyone recommend a career coach?
Hi, I have recently got the offer from HCL Technologies, they are offering only 7LPA and I have a counter offer in Cognizant, they offering me 8.8 LPA. I spoke with the HCL HR on the same, HR said that they will revise the offer two days before my joining date. This was happened over the phone call, so I mailed them to send me a mail, detailing all the information we talked over the call, but still I didn't get any mail from them. Now they are urging me to upload the docs. What I do??

I know you’re terrified every second of every day that you aren’t good enough and that you won’t make it. Keep going, keep working, keep believing. You’ll get there. It’ll be really hard but once you finally get the hang of things, get promoted and finally feel like you know what you’re doing (relatively)...it’ll be worth it. You’ll take those abilities and that confidence with you for the rest of your life.
Glad to hear :)
In the industry you make half effort, work 50 hours and you’ll be a star (but no one will promote you). In consulting you’ll work your ass off, use your every ounce of your brain, and you will still feel inadequate (yet they’ll promote you anyway).

Thanks for sharing - some of them are good.
That Partnership is overrated, and 99% of them have very limited to no life outside of work due to firm commitments.
Wish I'd knew how to plan an exit strategy. Should have seen the signs when majority of people on my team thinks 5 years they make MD
It’s funny, I worked in a team a few years ago and our leader left. Everyone in the team thought they would get the leadership role, hired from the market instead. I think either people need to be happy with their role or if they want the whole corporate ladder thing, they can go into industry positions.
Do not feel like you have to be always on or always accessible. Take time for yourself to make this a sustainable career or you will burn out. Took me about 3 years to realize
