Hi, I have recently got the offer from HCL Technologies, they are offering only 7LPA and I have a counter offer in Cognizant, they offering me 8.8 LPA. I spoke with the HCL HR on the same, HR said that they will revise the offer two days before my joining date. This was happened over the phone call, so I mailed them to send me a mail, detailing all the information we talked over the call, but still I didn't get any mail from them. Now they are urging me to upload the docs. What I do??

Is it easy to switch from post sales aka something like customer success to pre sales?
What occurs Pre-Sales, like proposal development work? I joined consulting right out of college, have experience implementing Salesforce across the project lifecycle. Looking into what a good path in industry would be to look into.
Pre-sales: Hunt for net-new revenue, cold calls, outreach, negotiate contracts. Quota driven commission pay structure.
Post-sale: Change/project management, adoption, renewals. Usually have some sort of bonus pay structure.
Its harder to go from post to pre-sale because it requires different skill sets and ultimately sales people live and die by their quota. Hiring managers usually prefer people who have quota carrying experience. It’s really down to what skill sets align with your personal career goals.
