I’m sure this varies but I’d be curious to hear a few takes: how formal of a “recommender packet” are you putting together? I’ve seen examples that are quite comprehensive with letter writing tips, summaries of questions asked by each school, in addition to examples of accomplishments and traits to write to. Both of my recommenders have MBA backgrounds and currently work with me, so I don’t want to make this overkill but want to make sure I give sufficient info as well

When should you start attending school events/visits/talking to current students/alumni etc? (hope to apply fall 21)

Is an MBA justifiable if I’ve got a Computer Science MS (top 10 program)? Want to have impressive credentials but don’t want to spend my whole life in school
