The deals s1 I know in tysons just told me 77k fwiw
@pwc2 what’s the best way to get into FDD? Do B4 hire externally or do they fill all their slots internally? And would recruiters be a good resource to try to get into FDD?
You’ll likely come in at 80-85k, whether you’re internal or external. Not sure if you can PM on here but let me know if you have any other questions and I can try to answer.
Thanks. Thinking about transferring or trying to at least. What do they start at out of college?
No chance it’s 75k. I was making 76k as an S1 in audit two years ago in DC.
Most Deals practices - including DC/Tysons - do not hire directly out of college. Most FDDers come in as seniors after spending 2-4 years in audit. Offices are hiring more experienced associates since M&A is booming right now, though.
90-95
Senior 1s in FDD aren’t making 95k (unless they switched firms and were able to grab a lot of cash). There also just aren’t many S1s actually in deals - the absolute earliest most teams would hire you is after S1 busy season.
Pwc 1 is that fdd or one of the other groups
I think he’s cmaas. Deals is a big umbrella
RSM1, I would say if you’re positioned well (i.e. 2+ years of audit experience and good reviews) there’s no better time than now than to try and make a move internally or externally. The DC office is probably 70/30 external so there are definite opportunities if you get pushback on an internal request.
