If that's a title at your company the SS makes more $ than the Senior because they have more experience and are over more projects

It depends on the company. RSM has a SS level between senior and manager. It's kind of a manager-lite so to speak. Consulting and other industries also have SS where the rank is a bit different. Managers in consulting can have upwards of 8 years experience and more akin to the SM level in the traditional PA hierarchy. The roles and responsibilities of the position will differ from company to company.

A lot of times in consulting the "Senior" level is the bottom rung on the ladder. There typically aren't many staff as it's tough to consult someone when you have no experience yourself. Therefore the "Senior" level in consulting is more akin to a staff in PA. They do a lot of the preparation of files and typically don't review the work of others. Supervising Seniors then typically provide a first level of review over the Seniors work. It's not as structured as PA, however, as the structure is more flat and less vertical.

Create outrage over a perceived lack of diversity at a company they don't even work at

Get paid more than BDO1 to work 30% less hours

^damn 30% more!!! Guess that proves the wage gap is a myth. Maybe we should explore other societal myths. Maybe we should start with diversity...

^Makes no sense. Why would me making more money than you in a different position prove as a data point to dispel any wage gap? The two positions are not comparable.

Do you have a set $ you save every month? I'm 27, I've been tracking spend since 2020 and my $ saved has very strong variances MoM. If we consider 2021 a more "regular" year, I varied from $600 saved one month up to $3.2k in another (though that was partially due to a job change)... It's not affecting my overall saving % (was 46%) but wondering if I should try to even it out a bit more?
