Have you pinged the SDRs in Boston via LinkedIn (Sales Navigator)?

like

Definitely do this! I did this for my current role and it REALLY helped me understand what the expectations and culture was like

like

For entry-level, you're probably looking at $60k-$65k base. Bonuses can be generous though.

Seconding SDR1 above; 60-65 base is right around what I would expect. I've seen lower, but not out of the Boston office.

I woudl ask for no less than 65k.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think that long-arm statutes are terrible for our system. You shouldn't be able to file in the state that you live in. As a policy matter, I feel the default should always be where the defendant lives unless the contract states otherwise.

Did any schools retain a virtual option? It was difficult when we were doing hybrid and teachers were expected to do both, but I would love in the future (hopefully sooner than later) for some rendition of this to be available to students with disabilities and others who for whatever reason attending in person is an issue. With some adjustments, it was a great way to make education more accessible and introduced a new way to learn that some students even preferred and excelled in.

I have been with my current company for the last 14 years. Straight commission position. Since 2013 hey have been trying to rebuild this store. Since working for them we’ve gone through 3 CFO’s and I am on my third BM who will being leaving the company only after a year. There is a new Area leader which is causing bad karma among the team. Strong arm tactics and now we are losing good people again. Ideas on how to deal with this very uncomfortable situation. Stuck between a rock and hard place.

Since starting at this company in January 2022, they’ve increased my base pay from 75k to 85k. Moved me in a desirable territory to maximize sales. allowed me to speak and train reps for what has been working. Given me the freedom to work strategies that work for me.

I absolutely love this company so far. I know my worth is higher than 85k base but sheesh. The way they value me and treat their employees right. Maybe it’s worth the lesser pay?

Early stage startup or startup in the process of being acquired by a big tech giant. . .
Both with a similar comp structure...
Early stage startup includes a higher quota, 10% commission on closed business, and series A stock equating to roughly 0.15% ownership in company...
Which one do you take, and why?
