Any helpful tips for a Google TPM interview
Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE

So I’m about to start my interview process for Capital One next week for a Senior Financial Analyst position. My recruiter going give me a prep call on Friday but I wanted any advice that recruiters don’t tell you during the interview process. Also I wanted to ask if Capital One a decent place to work at. I will be working at the one in McLean Virginia if that helps.

In my opinion, they aren’t satisfied with any of the candidates and want to a fresh batch of applicants or there are financial issues with the position. I’d assume it’s the former, but I don’t work in HR and could be completely wrong.
It’s often there’s a freeze on HC (headcount) or a diversion of the the head count for the role you interviewed for to a different role. Probably not good and unlikely to resolve positively in your favor anytime soon .. but you never know
I had two great interviews back in December with a college (when I was working in higher ed) and the hiring manager moved me to the final panel round. We had it scheduled and then the day before, the recruiter sent me an email saying the position is on hold and canceled the interview. I followed up about a week after asking for more info and reiterating my interest to be told the position was canceled. I would keep looking and move on as it probably isn’t looking good.
In my experience, "on hold" means they are having budget reviews and lost the funding for the position, at least temporarily (until the next month/quarter) until the next budget review cycle.
Or they are considering promoting someone into the role. Honestly it’s a lot of reasons…
No, it’s highly likely it’s actually on hold. Happens all the time.
Lots of reasons. Could be a "maybe" but we want to see our other options.
