Hi all! I am a 3rd year corporate associate in a large firm. I just had my review and was surprised how good it was. Phrases used were “one of our strongest associates at your level”. Second year corporate associate — I have an extremely difficult time managing my workload. I feel that I’m otherwise a solid associate, but my main criticisms in reviews have been around communication of my workload and taking on conflicting deals. I just moved from biglaw to a large boutique, and this is something I’ve struggled with in both firms.
