I am in a confusion,
I work for tcs and for retention, tcs is offering Canada onsite and they need 4 to 5 months to process the visa
I have 2 offers in hand one is CTS (16.3+ 70000) and HCL (19+3)
Hcl is pakka support project (operations) no chance of development. I am having 10 YOE and completely in development.
CTS not sure about project.
Fishes, can you please help me understand which is a better option that I have.

Tbh it seems like the most humane way of saying “start applying” without actually saying it
^^ every agency I’ve been at has a few clients that aren’t tracking against their projections.
Depends the context of how it was framed/how much they stressed it. If shit has hit the fan then it could mean what others have said.
It could be a heads up that a lot of pitches are going to be coming up.
It could be a call to action for people to find organic growth opportunities within their current clients.
Safe bet is to start looking for new jobs or other clients to work on that have been steady/growing. Most agencies a have a few clients that act like this but usually they can be offset by awards or name recognition to attract new biz.
If it is a one time blip, it may not be as dramatic and there might still be opportunities to recoup some revenue on getting additional out of scope projects. If it's a client with a pattern of decline or that shoots down things beyond the scope, then it's not a safe bet to stick with them.
That is super super helpful, thank you!

It means the hours being billed (actual hours) are lagging behind the projected/planned hours used to project revenue for the month/quarter. Could be the team isn’t billing correctly, work is sitting on hold or scopes planned to do way more than was realistic to bill for. I’d expect the pace of work to pick up and tons of work to kickoff from now until EOY to bridge the gap.

Been through this exercise many times and it wasn’t ever that our work was being poached, at least on my (aor) account. It was poor planning internally.
