Have an upcoming PTO in May, last time I met LDR SO was in Feb. If I propose to fly to meet him in May and he disagrees, is it time to break up?

Any advice for someone experiencing burnout? ~2 YOE so first time in this situation. Really struggling and not sure what to do. 🙁 Taking extended time off is probably not an option due to project responsibilities.

I just joined a late-stage pre IPO startup and I’m not very happy with the work. The work itself isn’t exactly what I was sold during my interviews, and my manager took pto before onboarding me. I’m now left without any guidance, but he sends random ad hoc tasks my way without having given me the context. (Eg talk to xx and do yy 3-4x a day). I’m also working through learning work that’s already been done by mgr, but no one on the team really understands his work/models well. Are my frustratiins
