What does technical lead translate to in EY GDS.. What will be the next step ?

Hello Fishes, My friend has completed M.A English. He has 45 percent marks in HSC. And 50 percent and above in others. Is it possible for him to get jobs in IT offices. If so what are the kind of jobs he can look into?. he is looking for some guidance but i am not sure if its possible. Any leads will be appreciated.

Looking to begin a career in Financial Analytics. I am an Economics major that graduated in Dec 2020. Since then I have been an Operations Analyst at a FinTech company. I also have some past experience as an analyst at a small business lending company in college. I have been applying for jobs for the past ~6 months. I have made it to the final round of a few interviews, but have not received any offers. Does anyone have any advice for me? I would greatly appreciate any insight.

Furthermore, I’m looking into SRE related roles, which will lead me to Enterprise Architect in the next few years.

I want your opinions on IIM executive MBA Data Analytics and BA courses.

How is the course overall? And how much value does it hold post completion? From a CTC point of view?

Im completely from a non tech background, done MBA in Finance and working in the Insurance industry, please share honest reviews.

Does a high graduate GPA (3.96 in MSc Finance) make up for a low undergrad GPA (3.43 in Finance)? I also passed the level 1 CFA but unsure whether the low undergraduate GPA is going to close a few doors at the top programs (at HBS, SBB and Wharton)

I am a Senior 1 with INR 8.5 LPA with approx 6YOE (GRADUATE ONLY).I had got offer from TCS for AM at 12LPA (including bonus and everything and hence have rejected it)
I have got offer from SDC at 16 +2 JB for SA1 and expecting an offer from USI post their disconnect breaks in Jan.
I am thinking of negotiating at SDC .
Suggestions for both designation and package which I should negotiate for in both USI and SDC. Also, which one should be better to work for if package is same.

I'm a relatively junior data engineer (2yoe), the only other engineer (senior) that trained me left about a 6 months ago and I negotiated a nice raise for the extra responsibilities.

My performance reviews have been stellar, but my manager is starting to look to hire a senior to help me deliver projects as we do lack capacity right now.

I feel like I might be missing an opportunity to ask for a promotion and hire a junior instead.

Any opinions/tips?

Incoming AC at Bain, previously was deciding between Bain and McKinsey. But, ultimately chose Bain for the culture despite McKinsey being aligned with my professional goals of working in the government. I was looking on LinkedIn and didn’t find many people who are working in the White House after Bain, but found countless examples for McKinsey. Would it be difficult to try to transition to working in government after a few years at Bain? Any thoughts?

This is going to be a big change and hopefully it won’t affect any employee negatively (my gut feel is it will be a positive thing to employees)
But I feel we should embrace the change and be ready for any adverse effects. Upskill yourself and be ready to switch if something bad happens.

I am joining EY GDS Kochi in the month of April as Senior Associate. My YOE is 4.3. My current package is between 6-7 lpa and have been offered 9.8 as fixed. The total hike is 50%.
Is it a good hike or I should have negotiated for more?
