What experience and skillsets do you need to be hired in tech FP&A team?

Currently not happy with my service line (risk). Have an offer for Big 4 FDD which I am interested in. Long term goal is to get into more management consulting roles. I have recently gained interest in restructuring and like how it can have more of a consulting aspect. Would it be wise to take the FDD offer? I don’t have a restructuring offer and haven’t even tried recruiting for it. Also it’s not the easiest to get an offer in FDD out of my current service line so I don’t want to waste it…

Any insights on litigation practices of KE and V&E in Houston? Culture, type of work, staffing, etc.

Currently an Audit A2 about to go into my second busy season and trying to make a move to FDD or Accounting Advisory. What is the day to day work like? Any advice on getting the job or if i should finish this busy season before applying?

Is PwC FDD really 2 years to get to experienced associate? Recruiter is basically stonewalling my attempt to come in as an experienced hire with ~1 YOE and my CPA (wants me to come in as an associate aka a campus hire) . I get that when you jump firms, you might have to take a title downgrade, but it's confusing to me when I see people on here and elsewhere say they like got an offer as a senior associate in FDD with ~2 YOE in audit and I can't even come in as an A2.

Thinking about going from tax (PwC) to transactional service (mid tier - advisory). Is this possible? If so, what should i expect during the interview?

My gf and I are having a big discussion and I would love to get your thoughts on this. It’s about how much we keep in touch and communicate when I’m on the road. She needs to hear from me everyday multiple times and if I don’t answer her texts within a few hours, she can get quite controlling (text over and over again, also on my work phone, asks what I am doing and gets upset).
