I am potentially getting an offer from Meta as a product manager, in active interviews now. Any comp gut checks available for an L4 or L5 product manager? They won’t give solid info on comp until the offer, I don’t want to waste my time. Also, any insight into work/life balance in this type of role would also be helpful. My current role is super flexible and I am pretty happy, so it’s about more than comp increase to me.

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?

About to graduate, looking over my options within political advocacy/gov relations positions… I have one campaign under my belt and have worked under two reps at the statehouse. Its difficult to narrow my search and find which jobs I’m eligible for. Most require 3-5 experience so I’m just applying to things in the hopes that they recognize my work during college as experience.
Any advice on knowing where to apply? Or good companies to start out in?

Is it typical for people on the cusp of making Partner to not have any visibility into what the Partner comp package looks like?

My firm and practice seem more secretive than most. And maybe because of COVID there haven’t been many opportunities for informal chats between me and my Partners, and all I have to go off is Fishbowl and Glassdoor.

I’m actually interviewing for a direct admit P role at another firm and ironically I have better insight into the package there than if I stayed here.

What the hell is acceptable for creatives to wear to a job interview? This is my least favorite part of any interview. Does anyone even care what you wear? Help plz.

Question for paid search experts who have big agency experienc (e.g. big 4, dentsu, etc.) - is it considered standard to use SKAG instead of STAG, and use alpha/beta structures?...even with the changes Google has made to phrase and exact match? The various agencies I've worked at (small agencies) never use that method.

If you were interviewing someone from a small agency and they said they didn't use those types of account structures, would you think they were inexperienced?

Need advice! I’m currently interviewing for an account executive role and there’s a couple of red flags that have come up. 1. They aren’t able to tell me when I would have to relocate for the remote role I applied for. 2. Midway through the interviews—-the team decided to bump me down to a level lower which changes the base salary and commission. The recruiter is also unable to disclose why the team made that decision which makes me uncomfortable. What would you recommend?

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

My lead in Wipro is absolutely horrible and disgusting. Doesn't have any manners, language, is always rude to us when asked with a doubt. Why is it so that companies show excuses and say haywire things when you talk about increment after more than an year and still with multiple sittings you tend to get upto 20% hike or so. On contrary, they hire new people in same team for even upto 100% hike from their previous CTC. Nothing to old employee, but more than expected to new recruit! Can someone please answer this, why this happens?
