I have my Bachelors & I accepted a job at a starter up healthcare tech company which is growing. When I accepted the position and salary I honestly didn’t know what to expect or how to negotiate a salary pay. I accepted the job and salary because it was more than my old job and I needed to get my foot in the door. I’ve been here for 3 months and I have found out I am getting underpaid than what other project coordinators are getting paid. 10k less than them. How should I ask for a salary adjust

Just recently given an offer within my own department, new role created just for me , base salary is def an improvement from my old salary. I decided to negotiate other stuff. But now I feel bad. Why is it as a women, and never being given the chance to negotiate before, I feel bad now asking for what I think I’m worth. I’ve been loyal to my company for over 15 years and gotten the shaft, and now that this has come up and seems like a good offer, I feel like I owe it to my self to negotiate.

Didn't have top grades, wasn't on law review. Worked at a midsize firm and was laid off in march-- have about 3 years experience in a hot practice area. Have been applying and had some interviews at larger shops but nothing has come of it. I'm still applying to roles (not many out there) in my area but coming to the realization based on number of larger firm rejection letter that I may not find a role. Where would you go from here if you were me? Was making good money at the midsize...

I have an offer to a commercial real estate company in hand. My current brokerage (residential focus) wants me to pay $3000 penalty since I’m breaking the contract and leaving. I’m financially struggling and 3k is a big number to pay now. The new job will be paying me $2000/month up until the first year only. Is it wise to pay or stick around in residential sales just to avoid that penalty?
