Hey friends, I was laid off (due to COVID) from Accenture a month ago as an analyst. I had a pretty good network of SM, MD and managers that I talked to frequently before. However once I was laid off, I got depressed and haven’t reached out to any of them. I feel horrible but I’m trying to push myself out of my depression and make some positive changes. My fear is that at this point, I’m just a number and that they don’t care. It’s causing me anxiety and I’m telling myself it’s too late now.

Some of my friends who are parents said they're not worried about covid because it's very low risk for children. They know I'm a teacher and that I'm in a high-risk category. Makes me feel like they don't care about me.

Had the conversation with my wife about “needs.” She explained that bloating makes it difficult for her. I stop asking and don’t really pursue her as much because I don’t want to be insensitive about what she is going through (I recognize it sucka! and I let her know that I don’t really have a good sense of when it would be ok for me to pursue her or show her she’s hot).
