But yeah the other aspect is it's the weekend and concerns around btc are very real so can expect some pain or look at it as a buying opportunity if you have a LT view / don't expect btc to fall apart
Eos and tezos explicitly stated before the crowdfunding period they would sell all their ether and Bitcoin to cash. Charts depict supply and demand. When observing charts you don't need to know why the market is going in whichever direction they just depict the trend and the likely result.
I've felt confident for weeks that tezos and eos would drive us into a 75% correction and it appears we are heading that way. Also the uncertainty with Bitcoin hardfork on 8/1.
Can't wait for some discounted ETH
When observing charts you would've been hard pressed to say Eth would rally from $20 to $400 I think when you pair charts with fundamentals / news / uncertainty you can come to well rounded predictions. Given the ridiculous increases across crypto there's definitely a significant amount of gaps that have been getting filled and I think will continue to get filled. What made me decide to take a significant amount of profits is when I paired those gaps with the EoS / Tezos ICOs and btc uncertainty. Without that hard to convince yourself whether or not it'll continue to rally or crash because things have just been heading higher parabolically. Eth would pull back 30-40% then go up 200%
I've owned ether since $8 and the sell signal was after 400 on the way down through 255. It created a clear descending triangle pattern. Which predicts trend reversal. I'm a trend follower. Google some of those terms to learn more
I've done plenty of trading based on technical analysis in my life and I agree it's a nice tool to have but supplemented with other bits of information as well. And of course you never had a sell signal before and you hit it perfectly right at the top.. why am I not surprised.. lol I've been in since $12 myself and have owned a handful of different alts that have done well as well.
I think we will be able to pick things up a bit cheaper but not sure I agree with another 30-40% maybe another 15-25% for Btc and about the same for Eth from here
