Does it make sense to hire an executive career coach? So, I want to move on and find another job, also I would rather move to California or NY, I’m in MA now. My problem is that I’ve been with my current employer for 7 years, and they transferred me from Europe 5 years ago. I’m in my first VP job, and I got promoted from the inside. This week's tech/tool review. is Mind Meister. I use this tool to form a "brain map" of my sales process. I keep a template map and when I get a new deal of significance I use it to make a new map. Since I am process-driven these maps help me keep track of what part of the sale cycle I am in. It also allows me to review past engagement to see how I can make my future pursuits more successful. Sales Folks, if you had to make the choice - would you close the deal at 75% of the forecast number on time, or hold out for the chance at 125% of the forecast number and be a quarter late?
